How do i purchase a gift card?

We offer physical + digital gift cards to gift sweetgreen. Physical gift cards can be purchased at any one of our Sweetgreen restaurant locations - check out our locations page for your closest Sweetgreen. If you’re not near us or prefer a faster or scheduled e-delivery (up to 60 days in advance), we also offer digital gift cards to be purchased on our sweetgreen website or directly in the sweetgreen app. 

Do i need to sign up to purchase an e-gift card?

To purchase a digital gift card in our app or website you need an account to complete checkout. If you prefer to purchase without creating an account you can go to the web guest checkout flow via our Market Shop. If you purchase a gift card while logged in, you can always easily access it from your order history.

How do i purchase multiple e-gift cards?

You can also visit our Market Shop directly to purchase multiple e-gift cards to send to one or many recipients and include a sweet message to be sent on their special day. 

I sent the e-gift card to the wrong recipient? can i update this?

It happens and we can help! As long as the gift card hasn’t been redeemed or transferred, we can update your recipient’s email address. Just contact us + let us know the order number and the correct email address to send it over to.

How can I check my gift card balance?

You can check out the balance on your gift card here - just enter the gift card number (on physical gift cards, it'll be on the back of the gift card): https://gift.sweetgreen.com. If you've added your gift card to your digital account, you can check your balance via the payments tab under your account.

Can I link a gift card to my app?

Absolutely! Select 'Add gift card' in the 'Pay' tab and add your gift card number. You can also add it to your account under the payments option or at checkout under 'add gift card'.

After linking my gift card, where can i find it in my sweetgreen app?

Once you’ve linked your gift card to your sweetgreen app, you can tap on 'Scan' and the 'Pay' tab to view any available gift cards and their QR codes. You can also check for your gift card in the ‘Payments + Gift Cards’ section of the Accounts page. For digital orders you can see your balance during the check out experience.

Can I pay in the restaurant with my gift card?

Yes! If you're visiting us in the restaurant, you can use your gift card whether it’s a physical or digital gift card. Scan the gift card code on your physical gift card or you can print-out or scan the QR code in your email. If you’ve linked your gift card to your sweetgreen app, all you need to do is tap on 'Scan' open the 'Pay' tab to easily access your available gift cards and scan the corresponding gift card QR codes.
