When harvested in season, asparagus has a notably low carbon footprint, requires very little water, and has such a minimal pesticide load it’s earned a place on the Environmental Working Group’s “Clean 15” list.

We celebrate this seasonal ingredient by serving it fresh and crisp, flavored by a zesty lemon marinade. The result is a crunchy way to brighten any bowl.

This season’s star is our take on Argentinian chimichurri, a fresh and bright sauce that pairs wonderfully with grilled meats and veggies alike.

Our version is vegan and incorporates all the classic herbs plus a few trademark upgrades like umami seasoning and our own hot sauce to give it a sweetgreen flair.
