Food tastes better and is better for you when it's fresh. And since we are committed to giving you the best food available, Sweetgreen buys produce at it's peak season directly from local farms in the DC area. The less your food has to travel from the farm to your salad bowl, the better it is for the environment, for the community, for your body, and for your tastebuds. We ensure this by having a dedicated sourcing and sustainability manager.
