Grab a seat because this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Sweetlife Festival set times! If you’re anything like us, prepare for an unproductive hour or two of pre-festival excitement! Here it goes…
Everything will go down on the main pavilion stage, so you won’t miss a single note. Here’s a text version of the lineup for our graphic-hating, slow-loading smartphone peeps:
This year Nic, Nate, Jon and I went to Coachella. It was my first time, and it more than exceeded my expectations. There’s nothing better than seeing your favorite bands performing back to back in sunny and warm Palm Springs. We saw Afrojack, Cut Copy, Robyn, Yelle, The Kills, Empire of the Sun, Mumford & Sons, Arcade Fire, Foster the People, The Strokes, Kanye, Axwell, and so many more. Arcade Fire had one of the best, if not the best, performances. Saturday night on the main stage, closing down the night with a crazy shower of illuminated orbs that spread over the entire audience and lit up the sky. Foster the People killed it in the Gobi Tent on the final night as the sun was setting. The Strokes were amazing; they made the crowd go wild with Reptilia, You’re Right, Gratisfaction, and Undercover Darkness. We can’t wait for them to perform at Sweetlife Festival next weekend!
We attended the epic SXSW concert this past weekend in Austin. SXSW was amazing this year and included some amazing acts including Sweetlife artists The Strokes, Cold War Kids, and Theophilus London. The Fader Fort was definitely the highlight of the festivals featuring acts such as Toro Y Moi, Friendly Fires, Ellie Goulding, Odd Future, Matt & Kim, Jamie XX, and Lil’B. Some other standouts at the festival were the performances by James Blake, Chromeo, Foster the People, and Jack White. The energy and talent at the festival was amazing and has us even more pumped for the Sweetlife Festival on May 1.

We know the wait has been tough, but we are finally ready to announce the rest of the lineup for the Sweetlife Festival 2011 at Merriweather Post Pavilion! After booking one of our favorite acts ever (The Strokes) we knew the rest of the lineup had to be just as good. So, just like we choose what we serve in our restaurants with the highest standards of quality, we are excited to present an epic, Sweetgreen-approved lineup.
Special Sweetgreen Presale starts tomorrow at 10AM. Get you presale password here.
In case you missed it this weekend…The strokes are back in full swing! After their amazing performance of “Under Cover of Darkness” on snl this Saturday, we couldn’t be more excited about seeing them live at the sweetlife festival!

On April 30th we are throwing our 2nd annual Sweetlife Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion with headlining band THE STROKES!
We’re so excited to bring an event like this to Washington DC, and to bring together two of the most important aspects of the sweetlife: sustainable food and live music. This year’s Sweetlife Festival is a huge leap from last year—from the days DJing block parties in the parking lot of our Dupont Circle location to now being at one of the most legendary venues in the country, not to mention with one of our favorite bands of all time.
The Sweetlife Festival is going to be a celebration of music, wholesome food and thoughtful living. We are also really excited to partner with Jamie Oliver’s Food Foundation in furthering their mission of fighting obesity and promoting better dietary health through food education and cooking skills.
We will be announcing key details about the festival in the coming days, including the full line-up and ticket sales information, but we couldn’t hold our excitement any longer and had to share our headlining news with you.
Head over to the Sweetlife Festival’s website to sign up for our PRESALE code and stay in the loop as festival news is released.
