Deirdre Smith, resident of Philadelphia PA, entered and won our Sweet Ride Photo Contest which ended this past Friday.  Her photo received a ton of support, and from March 4 to March 25th, collected 223 “likes” on Facebook.  Deirdre will get her brand new Republic bike on opening day of sweetgreen UPenn!  Congratulations Deirdre!  Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo with the bike over the course of the contest.

Congratulations to Cari Hayes, UPenn student and now the proud owner of a sweet Republic bike.  Her photo racked up an impressive 300+ “likes” over the course of the contest.  Moral of the story: you go places with mad ninja skills.  Thank you so much to everyone that entered the contest or participated through photo-liking!  Stay tuned for sweetgreen UPenn updates coming soon… 

Today marks round 2 of the contest and we have one more sweet ride to give away.  The same rules apply- take a photo with the bike, upload it to our Facebook wall, and the photo with the most likes by March 25 wins a custom sweetgreen Republic bike!

sweetgreen is coming soon to University City in Philadelphia.  If you stop by and notice our work in progress, look closely because that brand new sweetgreen-green Republic Bike in the window could be your sweet new ride.  The steps to win are super easy- all you do is take a picture of the bike and upload it to our Facebook.

First blog post of the year! Woohoo! Ok, now that’s done, we’re here to ask you for something: ideas. We believe that fresh ideas come from all places and there is no one else we’d love to hear from more than our customers and fans.

By now, you might be familiar with the mini contest we’re currently running on Twitter. Our friends over at Bethesda Row – a local shopper’s and diner’s paradise known for its “uncommon mix of life + style” – have always been supportive of our mission here at sweetgreen. We wanted to return the favor, so we came up with this simple twitter contest: from now through Friday morning, be on the lookout for a daily tweet about Bethesda Row. For a chance to win a $25 sweetgreen gift card, all you have to do is re-tweet what you see, click on the link provided, and “Like” Bethesda Row’s Facebook page.
